Severe storms moved across portions of southern Kansas Wednesday bringing reports of a few weak landspout tornadoes along with copious amounts of large hail. Storms continued into the nighttime hours bringing hail and wind across portions of the region.

The town of Argonia is roughly 45 miles southwest of Wichita in Sumner County, Kansas.

  1. Pea sized hail….I drove right thru that stuff before….its not too bad…lasted 10 mins, but had a few dings in my truck body tho….hail that size while traveling at 50 mph aint fun for the paint.
